Your draft
Your CV draft is stored in browser localStorage on your device. With an optional passcode, it is encrypted using AES-GCM before being stored. Without a passcode, it is stored as ordinary browser data. Clearing your browser data or changing devices can erase your draft. Download a copy for safekeeping.
AI is optional
When you agree to use job tailoring, recruiter review or skill suggestions, the CV fields and instructions for that specific request are transferred to our server and to Vercel AI Gateway and its model provider for processing. These providers have their own processing policies. We do not require AI to edit or export a CV. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information you do not want to share with an AI provider.
Exports and email
PDF, Word and image exports are generated in your browser. Email buttons open a draft in the email application you choose. You are responsible for attaching files, choosing recipients and sending messages.
Service operations
Hosting providers may process technical request metadata such as IP addresses, error details and access logs for security and operational purposes. CVBible does not currently offer user accounts or a server-side CV vault.
